Shipping policy

1.       Shipping & Delivery Policy

We want your order to reach you safely and on time. This policy explains our dispatch times, delivery options, costs and what happens in the rare event of a problem. It should be read together with our Returns, Refunds & Exchange Policy and our Terms & Conditions.

2.       Dispatch & processing times

2.1. In-stock items: dispatched within 1-2 working days of your order being placed and payment cleared.

2.2.  Made-to-order/made-to-measure & bridal: crafted specifically for you; typical lead time is 8-10 weeks. Your production and dispatch timeline is confirmed in writing before work begins.

2.3.  Order cut-off: orders placed before 14:00 (UK time) on a working day begin processing the same day. Orders are processed Monday-Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

2.4. Peak periods: during festive and wedding seasons, dispatch may take slightly longer; any expected delay is shown at checkout or notified by email.

5.1.   Delivery timeframes are estimates from the date of dispatch (not the date of order) and exclude made-to-order lead times. All UK parcels are sent on a tracked, signed-for service.

5.2.   All UK parcels are sent tracked and signed for. Next-Day applies to orders placed before 14:00 on a working day, delivered on working days only. Click & Collect availability is shown at checkout.

6.       Tracking & delivery

6.1.    Once your order is dispatched, we email you a tracking number and a link to follow your parcel.

6.2.    Our couriers will normally make up to three delivery attempts, after which the parcel may be held at a local depot or collection point for you to arrange redelivery or collection.

6.3.    Please provide a complete, accurate address. We are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses, and we cannot take responsibility for orders delayed or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address supplied at checkout.

6.4.    If you need to change your delivery address, contact us as soon as possible and within 6 hours of ordering, or before dispatch if earlier; once an order has been dispatched the address cannot be changed.

7.       International delivery

We ship worldwide. International orders are sent via tracked courier (for example DHL or FedEx). Estimated transit times and charges are calculated and shown at checkout based on the destination and order weight.

7.1.   Duties & taxes: For deliveries outside the UK, import duties, taxes and customs-clearance fees may be charged by the destination country and are the customer’s responsibility, unless a delivered-duty-paid (DDP) option is offered and selected at checkout. Any such charges are levied by the relevant authority, not by Yashwanti London.

7.2.   Customs delays: International parcels may be delayed by customs processing, which is outside our control.

7.3.   Returns from abroad: See our Returns policy (5.9.2). Please mark return parcels “Returned Goods” to avoid further import charges.

8.       Risk, delays & lost parcels

8.1.    Risk in the goods passes to you when the order is delivered to the address you gave (or to a person or safe place you nominated). Ownership passes once we have received payment in full.

8.2.    If your tracking shows no movement, or a parcel is significantly delayed, contact us and we will investigate with the courier and put things right.

8.3.    We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example severe weather, courier disruption or customs), but we will always help you resolve them.

8.4.    Your statutory rights: If we do not deliver within the agreed time/SLA (or within 30 days where no time was agreed), you may be entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This policy does not affect those rights.
